New Service: Stitching

To facilitate access to the Easy 3D protocol for those who do not have an extended FOV CBCT (full skull) available, the Stitching service is available. The technique consists in fusing 2 smaller FOV CBCT scans to obtain a single file with all the anatomical areas of interest. For this, we use the same tomographic superimposition concept published by our consultant Dr. Méndez Manjón (J Craniofac Surg. 2019) guarantees the precision of this fusion.

To use this service it is essential that both CBCTs are performed correctly, keeping the patient in a stable position and in the usual maximum intercuspation and that with the union of both, the minimum anatomical areas have been registered to be able to perform the Easy Protocol 3D: From Glabella -Hiode, nose to ear (including the soft tissue) and always registering the TMJ structure in its entirety.
